"Gresham's law of cultural evolution states that: ‘Oversimplified ideas will always displace the sophisticated ones, and the vulgar and hateful will always displace the beautiful. Yet the beautiful persists’.

In this work, as in all of my works, my aim is to reveal the beauty of every situation I am experiencing, as this has been filtered and stored in my memory. My art constitutes a record of the journeys I make, be they the places I travel to, or internal spaces, indicating personal growth.
This ongoing relationship between inside-outside, image-essence, takes place until what we are left with is the essence, the positive, beautiful and bright aspect. This essence constitutes the light that strengthens my perception.

Light is synonymous with beauty and knowledge. It shapes and defines the countless different colours in every culture and every living being that develops on this earth. We were brought to life through light and back to light we return. Beauty is this divine power which guides us through everything we do and through love and understanding it enable us to save whatever there is left to be saved."
