She was born in Nicosia, where she lives and works.

She studied Fine Arts at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. In 1990 she attended the Sotheby’s course on “Rules for Buying and Selling Works of Art”, and worked for the auction house in Washington D.C. until 1992. Upon her return to Cyprus she cooperated with the Levendis Municipal Museum, Nicosia, in setting up the first educational program for children in a Museum.

Though her main medium is painting, she uses more mixed media and creates constructions.

She has presented her work in some solo exhibtions in Cyprus and has participated in various group shows in Cyprus and the USA.

In 2006 she represented Cyprus, together with artists A.Karayian and M.Lianou, at the 10th Cairo Biennale, a participation which was awarded with the Best Pavilion Award. In 2005 she won the 2nd prize in the Limassol Court House Competition.  

She is a founding member of the Independent Artists Organization.
